The world’s greatest snooker players return to York for the UK Championship, one of the biggest events on the sport’s global calendar.
The event runs from November 29th to December 7th and once again the top 16 players, along with 16 who have come through the qualifying rounds, will be battling for the trophy.
World number one Judd Trump will defend the title having beaten Barry Hawkins 10-8 in a dramatic final a year ago. The incredibly strong field includes in-form players like Shaun Murphy who captured the recent British Open and Mark Williams who became the oldest ever winner of a ranking title at this month’s Xi’an Grand Prix.
This historic event, first staged in 1977, is part of the sport’s Triple Crown Series along with the Masters and the World Championship. It will be televised to an audience of hundreds of millions of fans across the planet on BBC, TNT Sports, WST Play and many other broadcasters.
And you still have the chance to be one of the lucky few to watch the action live inside the fabulous York Barbican! There are limited seats available for certain sessions, book now to secure your seats and experience the unique atmosphere.
