The Hollies To Return For The First Time Since 1999

02 Aug 2019

The Hollies, one of Britain’s best-loved bands, have announced a York Barbican show in April 2020 - their first show at the venue since performing here back in 1999!

One of the finest groups to emerge from the 1960s British rock revolution, the band are famous for their distinctive harmonies and a brilliantly crafted back catalogue of memorable hits. Over the years they have produced classic songs such as The Air That I Breathe, Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress), Bus Stop, I’m Alive, and many more!

Still performing as the original line-up, The Hollies take great pride in their live shows, playing for two hours every night with no support band.

The Hollies were inducted into the American Rock ‘n‘ Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 for their ‘Impact on the Evolution, Development and Perpetuation of Rock and Roll’ and hold the coveted Ivor Novello Award for ‘Outstanding contribution the British Music’.
