Dexys announce bring their 2022 UK tour to York Barbican on 30 Sep 2022 and a reworking of their classic album ‘Too Rye Ay, as it could have sounded’, in what will be the 40th Anniversary of the original album.
The band will be performing hits like ‘Come On Eileen’, ‘Jackie Wilson Said’ ‘The Celtic Soul Brothers’ and ‘Geno’ to mention a few.

The Divine Comedy
Having now completed his third full decade as a recording artist, The Divine Comedy, aka Neil Hannon, performs on our stage on 30 Apr 2022 to celebrate the release of ‘Charmed Life - The Best Of The Divine Comedy’, a collection of his finest musical moments.
Expect to hear songs such as ‘National Express’, ‘Something For The Weekend’, ‘Songs of Love’, ‘Our Mutual Friend’, ‘A Lady of A Certain Age’, and many more.

Cazoo UK Snooker Championships
Additional tickets have now been released for the earlier rounds of this year’s UK Snooker Championship which takes place on 23 Nov – 5 Dec 2021.

York Guildhall Orchestra
York Guildhall Orchestra presents their first concert of the season on 16 Oct 2021 that combines the forces of the York Guildhall Orchestra and Leeds Festival Chorus.
A concert of popular favourites from the world of Classical and Romantic opera, there are many well-known and popular tunes for everyone to enjoy.
The orchestra is also delighted to be joined by two leading soloists, Jennifer Stafford and Oliver Johnston – both superb artists and well worth hearing.
