This morning we've revealed a bunch of new shows coming to York Barbican in 2020, including some side-splitting comedy, Rock & Roll music and more!
ROMESH RANGANATHAN: THE CYNICS MIXTAPE | 10 MAY 2020
Following two sold-out shows back at the start of this month, Romesh Ranganathan returns on 10 May 2020 with his smash-hit live stand-up show, The Cynic Mixtape.
Fresh from multiple TV appearances, Romesh is putting showbiz aside to deliver a carefully curated selection of all the things he has found unacceptable since the last tour, including why trying to save the environment is a scam, why none of us is truly free, and his suspicion that his wife is using gluten intolerance to avoid sleeping with him.

Scottish Comedy Award winner and viral sensation Gary Meikle is back with his second tour show, Surreal! A word that perfectly describes Gary’s last twelve months, who started the year performing in comedy clubs, and ended it selling out big theatres in the UK as well as tours in America, Canada and Europe.
The new show will cover topics such as evolution, social media, how to deal with burglars, single mums, bee sex, small man syndrome and much more. Gary is a fast-paced, punchy storyteller that finds the funny in anything!

Our monthly comedy night, the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club has announced a host of new dates in 2020, once again bringing the very best in comedy to York Barbican.
Each show includes comedians from television shows such as Mock The Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats and has previously hosted comedians such as Jason Manford, Sarah Millican and many more. Starting the year with two back-to-back shows, make sure you get your tickets early for York's biggest comedy club!
