For over 50 years, John Mayall has served as a pioneer of blues music, playing alongside the likes of Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood and many more and rightly earning him the title, "The Godfather of British Blues".
Following the release of his latest album 'Nobody But Me' in February 2019, Blues Hall of Fame member John Mayall heads to York Barbican, joined by Texas blues guitarist Carolyn Wonderland and his incredibly talented band for a dynamic new chapter in John’s ongoing adventures.
The seemingly ageless road dog, who famously takes no days off and carries his own gear on tour, has been given a clean bill of health and plans to return to his usual grueling touring schedule to support the release.

Paul Carrack returns to York Barbican after an incredible performance in January 2019, joined by his six piece band for his mammoth 20/20 tour.
Famously nicknamed ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’ in a BBC documentary, Paul Carrack has performed on countless hits througout the years for acts such as ACE, Squeeze and Mike & The Mechanics.
Having recently returned from touring with the Eric Clapton Band, he is eager to get back on the road performing not only the classic hits from his amazing back catalogue, which includes seventeen solo albums.
