York Barbican are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with train operators LNER in a deal that will directly benefit the venue’s customers.
As the Official Travel Partner of the York Barbican, LNER are offering a 20% discount for future travel on selected advance LNER train fares to customers who buy tickets through the York Barbican’s official travel partners Ticketmaster.
Speaking about the announcement of the partnership, York Barbican General Manager Darren Moore said: “We are proud to join forces with LNER in a collaboration that makes perfect sense for both organisations. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience to our guests and to be able to offer this fantastic discount on rail travel is a great benefit.”
Chris Cunningham, Head of North Region for LNER added: “Thousands of people travel with us every day to visit the iconic venues and attractions within our region. We’re therefore extremely excited to be working with the York Barbican and look forward to making the partnership a huge success.”
The partnership with venue operators SMG Europe also sees LNER become the Official Travel Partner for the Utilita Arena, Newcastle and the first direct arena, Leeds.
